I did an intensive 2 week language study with Laura and Antonella, and it was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had learning a language. Laura leveraged her very broad network to arrange a complete immersion. Our daily lessons were supplemented with aperitivos, meals/coffees with friends, fun trips (e.g., the Ducati motorcycle factory) and walking tours of Bologna. We even did a day at the swimming pool with one of Laura’s friends.

One good example–I mentioned to Laura that I loved cycling and urban planning, and she arranged for me to join a group that does a weekly tour of streets that have been converted into urban parks. It was super cool and I met really interesting people. Finally, at the end of my time in Bologna I caught covid. Laura was so sweet and brought me groceries and things from the pharmacy. I would go back and study with Laura and Antonella in a minute!
